would you say it’s a waste to use your A Levels to do an art and design degree?

I’m in a difficult position because I want to art & design at university, but everyone is saying don’t do it. I wanted to do veterinary medicine for years (until recently), and have suddenly gone off the idea. advice?

Over the past few days, I’ve found that music can be an escape from everything.
